I Feel Unmotivated

This is a good message for employers. Studies have found that money is not necessarily a primary motivator for employees' performance, nor is it a good indicator of employee satisfaction.

One of the reasons I love companies that value employee input and innovation is that they pay their employees enough money so that it isn't a factor for them. They love their jobs because they are stimulated by making a significant contribution and the reward comes from recognition and putting a value on creativity. Google does this, as do many other inspirational corporations.

This video is about 10 minutes long, but worth the watch. The animation is really amazing, too!

I found this video on I Feel Unmotivated, which is a good site to get a little daily inspiration when you're feeling like you can't finish that assignment or need a bit of motivation for life.

Fast Five

Here's my guilty secret. I LOVE Vin Diesel. I'm a total geek for him, including but not limited to "Pitch Black", which is a damn fine film according to me. In the sincere hopes that they continue making these movies, I'd like to contribute my idea for the next film: Fastious. You're welcome, world.

Kittens!!!

Just in time for tonight's party:

This makes me laugh every single time I watch it. I'm pretty sure I made a few videos like this when I was a kid, but they were nowhere near as aws as this one.
